This book is about 14 personal stories from people who took judaism classes with Rabbi Weiss because they were either engaged or married to a Jew. Only one or two people did not fit that description, taking the course because of their own search for religion. The stories were pretty honest, describing feelings of falling in love with Judaism and the rituals, structure, warmth, etc. while at the same time fearing joining a group that is a minority subjected to hate crimes etc. It's a fairly quick read and I found it very interesting.
