This is a great cookbook with lots of color pictures and details of how to make basic Italian recipes. There is a pasta guide as well. This is the paperback version but there is also a larger hardback version that is under a different title but the content is the same. Great work and great resource.

The Cook's Encyclopedia series is a wonderfully compiled collection of lovely cookbooks with lots of color photos showing techniques and finished recipes.
