I hope she writes another! And things are getting hotter with Marcus! This one was a real turning point, it is like a lot of questions got answered and some settling down is really happening. The mystery was good too! But the cats are the best!

OK, this series just gets better and better. I totally get Kathleen when she shares her thoughts with her kitties because I do it everyday. Kathleen finds not one but two bodies in this installment. One has been dead for years and the other is very recent. We learn more about Roma and her family. Marcus is getting closer to Kathleen and hopefully he will actually work up the nerve to kiss her in the next book. Everyone together now "You can do it , Marcus!" 4.5 stars

I just love the personalities of these cats and their conversations with Kathleen!

This series is building nicely to where you're getting to know the main characters better, and yes, finally, Marcus has asked Kathleen out, so all us Magical Cats fans are hoping for some romance plus mystery in the next installment due out in February, 2013!

Highly recommended!

Another winner in the Magical Cats series for Sofie Kelly. Enjoyable read. Characters are becoming more defined as the series continues. This time a double murder awaits Kathleen. Things are heating up between the librarian/sleuth and a certain police detective! Cozy mystery fans will enjoy!

I love this series, being a cat person helps. Good mystery, interesting characters. Look forward to the next one in this series. The cats are so much like my sister-in-laws. She has a tiger and a black and white. No disappearing, or walking through walls of course, but they are all very much cat characters. Their attitudes and my cats attitudes are very cat like and wonderful to be in love with. I have three and love them a bunch. Interested to see what she does with Roma and the property where the ferals are.

Really liked this book alot. Characters are becoming more developed. A real page-turner. The cats are just a riot, and the author's sense of humor with the main character's relationship with them is really good. I must be a crazy cat lady too, because I talk to my cat and dog all the time. :)

This book has Kathleen (MC) finding two bodies - one from the past and one poor soul who has just been murdered. When her friends find themselves as targets of a murder investigation, she and the kitties go into action to solve both murders.
