This is a wonderful Koontz book. It starts off fast and keeps up the pace. This book is about a boy who is blind and has an enemy, who even the enemy doens't know the boy is his enemy.

This is the story of a boy who loses his sight. And then mysteriously regains it. It is the story of a courageous band of seekers. And a relentless killer. It is the story of all that is right with the world. And all that is terribly wrong. It is the story of a revelation so terrifying and so sublime, it can only be glimpsed....

This book keeps you going with several plotlines that weren't too confusing. Although you could not finish this book in one sitting, it is very long, it is one of those that you go to sleep with it and wake up to it. I didn't care for the ending, it felt rushed which was very disappointing with such a wonderfully written story up until then.

Takes a little while before turning into a fairly thrilling read. Parallel story lines with plenty of foreshadowing. At first, very overwritten, but by the end you get into the spirit of the flowery language.
