Search - Country Cross-Stitch Designs (An American Sampler)

Nice hardcover book that includes an assortment of country style cross-stitch patterns, some spread over a few pages, but still easy to read. Patterns are mostly samplers, and there are some detailed instructions and photographs of the finished products. I've had this for many years, but never made any of the designs!

Charming designs, chartings, detailed and clear instructions and drawings, Also included is a collections of witty sayings and gems of foldlore wisdom. Lots of storybook styles, Christmas, Noah's ark, and doll costumes. Thread colours are DMC. I liked this book because it simplifies the designs: they are not overly busy. And they are not done in pastels and full of roosters and cows.
