If you are planning to make a coordinating quilt set for your bedroom or are just looking for some fun designs, this book is perfect for you. Both the photos and the drawn illustrations are in color. The projects are as follows: Ribbon Stars Bed Set (a bed-sized quilt with matching pillow cases); Ribbon Stripe Wall Quilt (uses 12 6" x 8" blocks); Nine-Patch Garden Pillow (quilted pillow with flange edge and cord decoration); Garden Pathway Pillow (quilted pillow with ruffled edge); Garden View Pillow (14" x 10" quilted pillow with ruffled edge); Fenced-In Pillow Quilt (a "quillow", which is a 60" x 74" lap quilt that folds into a 25" x 25" pocket); Garden Maze Table Runner (25" x 13": 3 6" blocks with borders); Garden Cushion Set (designed for a settee--38" x 17"--and for a 17" x 17" chair, but the designs will work equally well for a table runner, wall hanging, or pillow); Chenille Garden Pillow (uses layers of fabric that are cut after assembly to create a chenille look); Lattice Posies Pillow (a 16" x 16" quilted pillow with Prarie Point edges); and Strip-Pieced Garden Pillow (a 14" x 14" quilted pillow with a diagonal design, finished with cord and tassels). The directions are clear, and the projects are suitable for a beginning to intermediate quilter or for an advanced quilter looking for a quick project.
