How long does it take for PBS to find a cover image for a brand new book? Trade paperback printing was 2008 and my copy  Mass Market printing 2011..

The cover image is shown on the 2008 edition. and it is the same for both books.

If the listing was set up without the image, the database may not get an image for it until someone submits one.You could submit an image for approval and it should only take a couple days if there is no existing image.

What Melanie said.  And if there is an existing image, once your image has been approved, it can take 2 or 3 weeks for the new image to appear.  You can submit images several places, but if there's already an image in place, a good way to do it is to go down to the bottom left corner of any page.   Under "my account" click on "member tools" then "upload book covers."

Your image should be in JPG format.  (Look at the very end of the file name on your computer -- the letters should be JPG.)  The image should be straight, cropped, and large enough to read the title -- pretty much the larger the better.
