Fast moving, great plot!
Fast-paced, quick read .. good plot. IT IS PLACE-SPECIFIC .. clearly set in Manchester, UK .. if you like British mysteries, you will appreciate this one.
Ug. I slogged through the first two chapters, but between the dated references, insider-lingo, and place-specific verbage (I still haven't figured out if they're in Wales, New Zealand, or somewhere else), I just couldn't get into it.
The cover says she's one of Sara Paretsky's favorite authors, and I really like SP's writing. However, this is just beyond me.
Maybe you'll catch on quicker than I did.
