Everytime I post about PBS on Craigslist to get some referrals, my post gets deleted. I know there are some sections where you CAN do this, I just haven't figured out which ones they are yet.

Any insight?

I would guess that you are getting "flagged" by other posters as not being in compliance with one or more of the following:

j) that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other
proprietary rights of any party, or Content that you do not have a right to
make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships;

k) that constitutes or contains  "affiliate marketing," "link referral code,"
"junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or unsolicited
commercial advertisement;

l) that constitutes or contains any form of advertising or solicitation if:
posted in areas of the craigslist sites which are not designated for such
purposes; or emailed to craigslist users who have not indicated in writing that
it is ok to contact them about other services, products or commercial interests.

m) that includes links to commercial services or web sites, except as allowed
in "services";

LOL. I know people are flagging them! That's how they have gotten deleted. I am asking where they CAN be put. People here seem to swear by them.

From the criteria for removal that Jodi posted, It looks like your ads might fit this critera:

k) that constitutes or contains  "affiliate marketing," "link referral code,"
"junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or unsolicited
commercial advertisement;

(bolding mine)

So, if that is Craigslist policy, it might not be allowed to go anywhere. Maybe the ones that don't get flagged are just lucky?

ETA: All the PBS ads I've see on my local craigslist have been flagged/deleted. I've seen them deleted from services (where commercial ads are allowed, I believe), and from the for sale section.
