Quintessential boy's book - story of a boy growing up beside a jock, discovering that maybe the jock isn't what he first supposed he was at first impression. Alternatively, the jock discovers the boy isn't what he appears to be, either. A good story to let any child around ten or elevenish read, as that's the age they'll begin the poisonous first impressions.
