Is it any wonder frustrated and angry parents are yanking their kids out of public schools at record rates?!! EVERY and I mean EVERY parent should read this book!! I just started it last night and I could not put it down! I literally had to tell my son to take it with him when he went to his room and not to give it back to me until this morning because I had to get some sleep, lol!!!

From Crayons to Condoms: The ugly truth about public education is a compilation of stories written by parents, teachers, and students. It is a tribute to those who have suffered as a result of laws passed by liberal legislators and educators who have their own agendas.

Gee, that's not biased at all. @@

Anecdotal evidence is just that - nothing more, nothing less.  I suspect a few of those "stories"  will end up on Snopes before too long...

L, have you read the book?

It is very easy to spout off but it really means nothing if you have not even READ the book you are mouthing off about. No one can take an uninformed opinion seriously.

I finished the book last night and I STILL believe EVERY parent should read it. It really is sad how many parents would rather bury their heads in the sand than try to stand up and deal with the major problems most of our public school have:(
