I had a hard time getting into this book, but it did get more interesting. I guess I didn't care for the main character, Georgie Symonds, very much and that's why this wasn't one of my favorite reads.

I love LuAnne Rice books and this is just as great as her other ones. Always a pleasure to read her book!

Another wonderful story from a wonderful author!
Luanne Rice has such a way with words that it is so easy to read her stories. I will admit it took a chaper or two to get familiar with the "family" but once this is done-you are drawn into a marriage that has trouble, a family that has love, and a woman that has no where to go but up when the problems start showing up at the door. The setting is beautiful, Ms Rice makes you feels as if you are there at dinner with Georgie and her family and on the deck enjoying the sights. This was an enjoyable read and in the end i felt good-- i think i would read it again.
Surprisingly good read. Fast plot and good characterization.
