Thanks for the book requests, gift credits and  credit exchanges. Now I'm going to have all the books I need, and more, for vacation reading.   Paldies. (the first person who translates this expression and identifies the language it comes from gets a free book from my bookshelf).  Maija

Congrats in Latvian.  Latvian and Lithuanian are the two oldest Indo-European languages spoken in the world today. Ancient Prussian was the third, but it's long gone. So which book would you like?  Let me know, and I'll send it off tomorrow.  Sveiki!  (multi-purpose word - hello, or goodby, or cheers - very useful).

That's what I get for not checking in the Book Bazaar more often, I knew that answer! Spent a summer in Lativa a few years ago, my stepfamily is Latvian-American.
