Anyone else look at their registry regularly and see frequent errors?  Like deducting twice for the same book request, then a credit returned?

If a book rolls over (due to timing out or RC), then it will show up as two negatives and one credit.  Check the details.

That is not an error Jeanne, that's how the system works. It looks a little wonky because for some reason, it needs to do the "pass on request" (re-requesting of the book) before it can cancel the first request that is timing out. If you look closely, you will see that the sender changes when this happens.

I'm referring to books not "passed on request" or "cancelled by sender/receiver" but actual duplicates of same transaction.  I've seen examples of both of those too.

Jeanne,

Feel free to PM me a portion of your Credit Registry if you want a TG to review it and let you know if it is something that needs to be addressed by the site administrators.

Edited for spelling.

Book I requested 5 March never was answered by book owner so it apparently timed out on 11th (no change in what I saw on main "my acct" screen though). So I went to my "credit registry" and it shows -1 on 5 March, then +1 on 11 March for "passed on request", then another -1 on 11 March as if I requested the same book again from the same owner.  Isn't this just giving an inactive person another window of opportunity?

jeanne, it looks like your request was passed on to the next person with the book.  The "passed on request" is posted before the "transaction cancelled" note, but it should be a different member.

When a book is in the system and it times out it will automatically reorder the book for you. So it looks like Britney said-that it timed out on one person and then was offered to the next person. I don't really pay attention to my credit registry that much so I never noticed that these things might show up there. I wouldn't think they would.  Was it a WL book that timed out and then was quicky reposted?
