Pardon me if this question has been answered elsewhere (I did do several searches to see if it has been covered, to no avail). I just joined, posted my 10 books and then a few, it said I had 2 credits, then said later that my 2 credits had been 'removed' with no explanation. As far as I know I followed each and every one of the rules.

On your homepage under "My Account" should be a link for your "Credit Registry."  What does it say?

It's possible that someone at your address opened an account here in the past. Only one person per household can receive the two free credits. It's been mentioned here before that someone had their credits revoked because a previous renter in the same apartment had an account. If you're sure it wasn't someone else in your family, or that you may have opened an account previously and forgot, then contact the site admins and ask them to look into it. If it wasn't you or a family member, they'll fix it.

Oh, thank you! Yes, my sister has an account here--I totally missed any stuff in the rules about restrictions within households. That's what I get for not being careful enough. But I still get to keep my credits from when I send books out, right?

The free credits are done by street address. One set of free credits for an address. If you use a work address or a postal service, you will need to contact PBS. In those cases, you would need to provide your home address to get the credits. But your mailing address can remain.

Yes. Any credits you earn are yours. There is a limit of two accounts per household. Only the first account gets the free welcome credits.

As Emily said, yes.  Welcome to the site!
