I got this for my son. He's not fond of reading for fun, but he really got into this book. There are all kinds of interesting things about animals in here, both real animals, and those metaphoric animals that are often seen in the writings of the prophets. Read page 40 to find out which scripture verse in the Bible talks about the ostrich! Striking black-n-white illustrations throughout do a good job of making the pages interesting. The "cool" writing style makes the information fun to read. I'm looking for the other books in this series now, because I enjoyed reading this as much as my pre-teen son did.
