A very early Albert Campion mystery. Suspenseful and fun -- recommended for Allingham fans or fans of early 20th century mysteries.

The very first Albert Campion mysteries. If you are reading this series this is where to start.

Albert Campion may be related to royalty, but he has a real way of getting mixed up in nefarious doings. For instance, he is a member of a house party at Black Dudley Manor when the host is murdered. I say! What poor form! If you like traditional Brit mysteries, this is a good one.

This book was fun! I woke up at 3:00 a.m. one night, couldn't sleep so I decided to finish the book that I was two thirds through. I want to read more of Albert Campion's adventures.
