Search - Crochet That Fits: Shaped Fashions Without Increases or Decreases

I don't know if this author invented the techniques used in here, or if they've been around for awhile. But, either way, they're genius! First, this is one of the few crochet books that I have seen which feature garments I would actually make AND wear. So, already, the book is a winner. Now, there were a few garments in there that made me go "what the heck?", but taste is a personal thing. There were more garments in there that I would make than not - which is huge in terms of crochet books.

Second, the techniques of no increases or decreases for making garments that fit is pure genius. I personally hate decreasing and increasing. I'll do it if I really love a pattern ... but, I've always thought there had to be a more enjoyable way. This book describes that way. I've made 3 things from this book - a coin purse, a sweater, and a skirt. All with brilliant results. The garments fit perfectly and are shaped to my body.
