Retired CIA agent Wallace Mahoney had every reason to kill Chernov, his lifelong enemy in the KGB. For forty years, they struggled in a global battle of wits. Mahoney's wife was murdered on Chernov's orders. But now, vengeance must wait -- the Soviet spy has uncovered information about a chilling plot to destroy millions.

"An engrossing spy story. There is much relevance to today's politics." Paul C.

Wallace Mahoney is one of my favorite characters-a retired CIA agent with a cynical world view who is brought back to solve his incompetent bosses problems.
