I have had the great satisfaction of reading all of Paula Volsky's later books. This was her first book to ever hit print. I must admit that I enjoyed how uncomplicated it really was. Her style was just beginning to show in this book, but hadn't shown full bloom yet. However, the story line was refreshing and new. I enjoyed it greatly! It is probably one of my all time favorite books of hers.
