Has anyone read either "Foundling" or "Lamplighter"? I found the first one last year and picked it up because it sounded interesting but it sat in my TBR pile. I just noticed the second in the series last week (it is HUGE! 700+ pages!) so I bought it, too. Can anyone tell me anything about either of these?

Finished the 1st not too long ago - it was enjoyable but incomplete.  Think of it as the beginning of the journey.  I liked the characters that were introduced, but did not like the fact that the whole book eluded to something important about Rossamund that at the end, was still not revealed.  Personally, I do not really like books that do not stand alone - I think it is a flaw - I read them anyway, but I never think as highly of them as the ones that do.  I am curious to read Lamplighter as I want to see where this tale goes.

Oh and I am glad for your post as I had not known that Lamplighter was out yet - so thank you!
