What does that mean?

 DC has a big line drawn thru it, and a notation in front of it that says:   D

Thanks Brandy, I wouldn't have thought of that.  Once in a while we hear reports of counter clerks that are untrained in electronic DC (amazing in this day and age). . . declare e-DC to be 'illegal' and try to deface them (line-through with a sharpie) and sell you the USPS green sticky DC instead.

Maybe that is all they had around? We mark the PO Box parcels like that so all the clerks and manager knows that it got the delivered scan. We usually use a ballpoint pen.
