This seems to be happening a lot lately, the commincation gap between USPS and Endicia (or PBS). I mailed a bunch of books on Monday and Tuesday and all of those have at least the acceptance scan when plugged in at USPS, some with another en route scan too. The troubling one is a book I mailed a week ago--Thursday 10/20. No scan showing here on the details, but there is an en route scan on Friday 10/21 and the delivery scan 2 days ago on USPS tracing. I use printed postage (not just DC) so I have my credits, but just wondering if this is just me, or if all those people who use just the DC and rely on the scan to get their credit have noticed this?

It seems previously with this issue, the glitch resolved after a day or two and the scans showed up here, but a whole week of no scan being communicated to PBS seems awfully weird.

No, it's not just you.

Every book I mailed in the past week never showed more than the DC#.

I mailed (2) books last week using PBS DC, but having postage put on at the post office.  There is an acceptance scan at the post office so I did get my credits, but no scan since.

I've noticed this also- they seem to be taking a long time to show up in the system.

Happening over at the DVD site too. I mailed two DVDs over a week ago and the only time scans showed were when the DVDs were delivered.

Noticed the same thing. I mailed out three books last week with PBS postage. No scans showing up here, but en route scans show at the post office website.

The truck is also spotty.

Last time it was the (will be nice and not name them) middle men who had not updated their software to mesh with the new USPS site.  Out of PBS's control.

Yes, I have noticed that myself, especially in the last few weeks or so.  One order never showed up at all scanned.  I knew it arrived when the requestor marked it received.  I am wondering if it is worthwhile to get DC anymore.

The scans are showing up on the USPS website.  You can copy the DC number and paste to track there.  (PBS will credit accounts based on that.)  They are just not making the transfer to us.

Yes, the USPS is scanning less often.  But they are scanning.

PBS knows about this issue and is working on it.

I've not really noticed that.  I mailed some books on Thursday, and they'd been scanned and I had my credits within a couple of hours.

Having said that I've noticed that some will leave my PO, get to the Distribution Center and be received before others have ever left the Distribution Center (same Distribution Center).

Another book I sent to HI made it to Richmond, CA and then on the ship to HI, but the little truck has been hovering off one of the islands for about 10 days.  Still doesn't show as having arrived in HI (I know the truck is just a fun thing, and I got my credits as I used DC).  It's fun to watch to see what happens though.  Pat

One order never showed up at all scanned.

This just happened to me. The book made it all the way back east with nary a scan. Next thing I knew, it was marked as received!

I've just been checking the USPS site. It's updated there although not exactly accurate in one case for me. I had one book that was marked as electronic information received on the 27th per PBS but per the USPS site the electronic information was received on the 28th and it was scanned at the sorting facility 350 miles away, twice, on Oct. 26. LOL

My most recent book shipment using PBS DC was scanned at the post office, but is not showing up anywhere yet, not on PBS nor the USPS site.    The little truck though is moving, but not quite sure where it's headed?  laugh  As MSCOZY said above, makes a person wonder if the cost of DC is worth it anymore.

I mailed about 10 books last week and none of them have been scanned.

I ordered two books that were mailed with DC last week.  One showed up on the map and the other is blank.  I was wondering if the sender had forgotten to mail it, but it's probably this glitch.

It looks like all my scans have caught up with the PBS site now...some of them are funny because you get the en route scans and then 3 days later the acceptance scan.
