Linker is also the author of The Religious Test: Six Political Commandments for Believers and Atheists, published by W.W. Norton in 2010.
Linker is a former editor of the journal First Things, founded in 1990 by Fr. Neuhaus, and taught political philosophy at Brigham Young University. He is currently a Senior Writing Fellow at the Critical Writing Program at the University of Pennsylvania. Linker has published political and social commentary in The New York Times, The New Republic, and The Wall Street Journal.
