Absolutely LOVE Dan Brown books (specifically Angels and Demons but all of them are great) and am looking for suggestions of similar books that fall into the historical thriller genre

have you read The Club Dumas? I enjoyed that one. Some people find the ending a little strange but overall I like the book a lot. Would The Shadow of the Wind fit in this category? I was lukewarm on The Last Templar but you might like it. I enjoyed The Sign of Four for the stuff about the book. The murder mystery part was weak though.

The People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks.

James Rollins and Brad Thor and Steve Berry all write thrillers with a well-researched historical component.
