Let me say that I am a big fan of Christina Dodd and have read almost all of her books. I would not say that this is one of her best. While she did manage to tie up the loose ends of her contemporary series, in the end I felt a little let down. To me it seemed it was more mystery then romance. I did not get any laughs out of it which I had come to enjoy from other works by her. She is a great author and still one of my favorites but I did find the book lacking.

This book is the end of two series by Dodd. It completes the Fortune Hunters series as wells as the Lost Texas Hearts series.

It was a very good book, fast read. The suspense gets you right up to the end when you find out what happened to Nathan Manly. Awesome.

Great series. However you will want to read her Lost Texas Hearts Series first. One of the characters from that series is in the books for this series, and is the main character in this book.

This was a fast paced book with a gutsy heroine and a enigmatic hero. I enjoyed this book for its entertainment value, and can't wait to finish reading the earlier books in this series.

Enjoyable conclusion to Dodd's Prescott series and Manly series.

great book. the main character hannah is accused of killing her elderly clients whom she has befriended as a caregiver/nurse but she knows a secret from one of them that puts her in danger,so she runs and changes her apperance except to the one man who loves her.
