A former colonial, new lord falls for his young cousin's art teacher. "When she agrees to help search for missing art treasures, she enters into a partnership as perilous to her life as it is to her heart."
One of the first category Regency's I've ever read. But I'm hip to the style and have loved Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, and Sense and Sensibility for ages. This one kept me engaged; the writing flowed well, the plot worked, and the characters were funny, charming and fairly complex. A fine read, indeed! :-)
