I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Lisa Marie Rice can't write a bad book in my opinion, but this is one of her better ones. Very steamy and it's so fun to watch a big macho alpha male crumble at the feet of the right woman.

I really, really liked this book. After reading so much average junk lately, this book had it all. The storyline was good and actually believeable. The hero was just plain hunky - smart, alpha, but still vunerable. The heroine was sweet, intelligent, with an inner core of steel. Their characterizations well-motivated, they too were believeable.
The sex scenes, though strictly vanilla, were so well-written and so colorfully descriptive, they were an integral part of the story. I'm tempted to keep this one, but it's just too good not to be shared.

I liked this book even better than her Midnight series - She's getting better at fleshing out a story, yet still keeping it spicy. An I too love it when a stong man falls hard. Worth a credit and a read!

Really liked this one. I'm not a huge fan of the military Alpha male hero (personal bad experience with the real thing :() but Lisa Marie does this just right. There was also a pretty good story line in addition to the romance. And boy was the sex hot! There were several scenes that spoke from the hero's point of veiw so intimately and realistically that I wondered several times if Lisa Marie Rice is a man or at least a man/woman writing team. Definitley looking to pick up more of her (his, their?) work!
