Hey Girlies!!

I have a super nice Hard Cover of H.R.H. which is about 323 pages.  Thing is, I haven't read it, and not sure it's a good one of Danielle Steel's to start with.  Should I just post it to my Shelf? It's a $27 book and I hate to let it go out in a BOB swap.  UGgggg.  HELP!!!!!!

:)  Thank you for helping me.   Dawn

Don't you get to choose whether you accept a BOB or not? But I wouldn't post it until you're willing to let it go - not fair to anyone who might request it.

Other than that, I can't advise you, since I never read D.S. :-)

You can turn down a BOB offer if they don't have a book you want in exchange.  I don't read Danielle Steele so unless it's part of a series, I can't see a reason not to just read it before posting.  If you aren't getting into it, then post it and wait until it either gets ordered or you get a BOB offer you want.  If you want a credit for it-then decline BOB offers. But really a credit=1 book so if you do a bob it works out the same.

Well there's 86 copies of the ISBN posted.  If you post it to your shelf, most likely it won't get requested for awhile.  Maybe on BOB which you could always turn down. You could post it to your shelf and let it works it way up FIFO. On the off chance it gets requested before you've read it you can just hold off on accepting for a day or 2 and then choose the farthest mail by date giving yourself a week or so to read it.  I'm still not sure why you don't want to send it out on a BOB.  It's a book for book exchange. Just exchange it for another hardback from someone.

Les - put it on your reminder list (before you post it) and it will show the number of copies there.
