I've have now read 15 books of the 'Dark Series' by Christine Feehan and I love this series! Each book has been about a different couple in the Carpathian community. Now that I'm deep into the series, I've noticed that the author draws in past couples as part of the stories. Dark Celebration was even more special, because it shows you what each of the past couples are doing now, as they come together for a special gathering. Christine Feehan is an amazing author! This book also shows you what might be coming up next in the beginnings of new romances and present ones as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and wished it didn't have to end!
This book was a treat! I've been a fan of Feehan's "Dark" series and this book gives readers a chance to catch up with all the characters. The recipes are not half bad either!
What a great way to catch up with all the characters we have come to love in the "Dark" series, so far. With 16 different stories under one's belt, those characters were getting confusing and a Christmas story to re-acquant is perfect! Each chapter concentrates on a particular couple as Mikhail, the prince, oversees the preparations for a huge Christmas celebration instigated by Raven, his lifemate and embraced by everyone. While the feel is still very much Carpathian, there are actually many moments of lightness and humor in this particular installment, such as the plan to have the groups resident "bogeyman", Gregori, play Santa Claus. This story is just the ticket for a series that continues to enthrall and entertain for years to come.
