Book Reviews of Dark Destiny (Carpathians (Dark), Bk 11)

I have to say that out of all of them that I have read so far, this was by far the greatest!!!!
Truely. It has a wonderful plot, you learn so much about the charictures of the story and the humans that become part of their lives as well. Thru all the books you know what happens to the males if they don't find their lifemates, but what happens to the other halfs of the whole.

I loved it, and Can't wait to get the next ones in the series.

I really feel that this is one of the best book of the "Dark" series that I have read. I strongly recommend this one.

I love Christine Feehan, and I love the Dark Series. This was not a book that I sped thru or couldn't put down, but it was still good. I loved that connection she continues to throw in each book with previous characters, its like their stories continue to live on and you see it thru each book the growth in love, etc. Dark Destiny was great though because it a very tormented heroine that actually had her LIfemate help her thru some of the roughest times and help her to learn how to survive etc. I love the series, and can't wait to move on to the next.

This is one of my favorite stories in the Dark series! Great character development and storyline.

Love the Carpathian series from the first book, Dark Prince. In Dark Destiny, we see how even the worst can be turned into a positive if we use what we are given and put it to good use. The heroine could have felt sorry for herself and given up, but instead she makes good use of her "powers". It is always nice to have a strong figure behind you, even if it appears to be only in your mind. Again, very good, strong characters with a good dose of edge of seat drama toward the end makes this another hit for me with he series and with Christine Feehan.

Couldn't even finish this one.....I'm going to try one more in this series before I write it off.

Not her best.

Exciting & entertaining! I loved that Nicolae cared enough to protect & comfort Destiny before they even met. It speaks volumes about his character that he chose to experience her trauma along with her, so that she would not be alone. He didn't know her at the time and stood to gain nothing from it. Destiny's internal struggle and lack of self worth, just makes her desire to protect those around her more endearing. I look forward to hearing more about Nicolae's brother. His loyalty, strength, & integrity made me really wish could be saved via his own lifemate.

I used to enjoy these types of books but now I just don't see the point. Life mates, time travel and seeing in black and white would have really appealed to me at one time but now I want more substance than that. I couldn't get into the idea or even half of the conversations. Usually I want the conversations to go on and on, but in this case I couldn't wait to move on to the next page. It was a tough book to finish...

After all that, I do hope that his brother finds his own romance... :)

I picked this book up on a whim and I must say I found the authors style of writing very cheesy and even laughable at some points. That said, I enjoyed the plot and these books are good when your in the mood for a smutty, over the top romantic fantasy. I loved Nicolae in this book. I'll probably read more in this series one day, but it's nothing I want to spend money on.

Another compelling installment of Feehan's Carpathian Series. If you like vampires and other Supernatural subjects, this is definitely worth reading.

If you like romance with action, this is for you. I love books that have kick ass girl moves with passion and undying love. This book contains action, martial arts, love, horror and the paranormal

If you like the supernatural romance books you'll really enjoy this one. This is one of Christine Feehan's Carpathian books and tells the story of Nicolae and Destiny. I really enjoyed this book as it was interesting, involved a community of other characters to keep the story line interesting and incorporated characters from the other Carpathian books. Good reading.

verry good if you like vampires

"Dark Destiny" is my first Freehan book. I enjoyed that the heroine, Destiny, was a vampire hunter and able to hold her own in a fight but was put off by the number of pages describing her inner struggles. Don't get me wrong, I appreciated a story that includes battles of the mind and heart as well as physical battles but I don't need to be told over and over and over that Destiny felt bad about her situation. The love story was overly sentimental as well. I would have enjoyed the book more if there had been a balance between the story line and the inner thoughts of the characters.

Very different from other dark books-great.

If you love vampires, this books is great!!

What can I say but great.

I loved this book. It is a little different form her other carpathian novels. Destiny is converted by a vampire instead her lifemate. She has suffered agony for years, but refuse to reach out to her lifemate. She is scared to trust him for fear that he is one of the undead. In this book, Destiny is a hunter instead of being the protected lifemate.

Another intense and engrossing story from Mrs. Feehan. Definetly a page turner

very good supernatural romance story

I haven't even read this book for I am an avid book reader and saw that several people are requesting books for her and saw these at the thrift store and decided to buy them and post them. Happy reading all. Brittnay.
