I think the feelings between Rowan & Christian were a bit too quick but I liked it. Besides the story of the main characters, another couple is written about also - April and Decker. It would have been nice had more been written about them as I liked them better, just because the second couple wasn't dealing with past baggage.

I'm a big fan of BDSM books but I found this one to be uninteresting and very poorly written. The dialog was stiff. I ended up skipping to the 'good' scenes but still found them nearly impossible to read. No character development whatsoever. I hate that I disliked this book so much, I hate giving negative reviews but this one didn't do it for me at all.

If you're looking for BDSM fiction, read The Siren by Tiffany Reisz instead. It's a much better book if you're looking for something along the lines of 50 Shades of Gray. Bared to You by Silvia Day is also a great book for erotica fiction, similar in the way it is written to 50 Shades, but without the BDSM angle. If you want heavy BDSM that makes 50 Shades look calm, read The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty by Anne Rice (and the two sequels. The two sequels are actually better than the first book). It's not for the faint of heart, but superb if you want extreme erotica.

Pass on this one. It's not worth your time.

I really liked this book. This is a good first timers into to the BDSM world. Not too extreme. I liked the interaction of all of the characters and of course the HEA.

After reading so much junk on the market, it was interesting and revealing to read this story of a female Domme (Rowan) who has to work through her very heavy baggage before she can accept the fact that she wants to sub for the gorgeous, hunky Christian. Excellent character development with lush descriptives of BDSM and sex. The sub-story was also good, but having both Doms in the story fall in love with their Subs was a little too fairytale-ending for me.
