I have always enjoyed reading this author therefore this one did not let me down. Fast reading, easy to follow characters and nice story line. There are a couple of characters that you know you will see again in future books. Would suggest it to any Iris Johansen fan!

When I first started reading this one, I had to go back and check the copywright date because it felt like one of her previous books. I soon found it just started like one of her previous rescue dog novels. She brings in some of her previous characters, developes the characters of some new individuals and the story developed around a treat to four wonderful worker dogs. There is much suspence, many twists and a great love story as well. As usual, Iris Johansen hits the mark again and brings us a great fast paced mystery.

At first I didn't think I wanted to read about dogs but into just a few pages and I was caught up in a mystery surrounding the dogs and the owner, Marrock. It turns into a good sizzling mystery along with a enough romance thrown it but not enough to choke you.
