I thought these books were really good. I am a big fan of LJ Smith, although sometimes the soulmate principle is a little worn out. The only thing I didn't like about this series is that she stopped after 3 books, really wished there would have been more to the series.

This is an wonderful example of Smith's skill and creativity. The characters are fully fleshed out and the plot has twist that leave you breathless. This is still one of my all time favorite young adult stories.

I didn't enjoy this book anywhere near as much as the NightWorld ones. This one was just a bit out there and slightly strange in my opinion, just didn't grab me as well. It's written in her usual style and all I just think the way she worked the story lines wasn't so great. I think there is much left unsaid and undone in this series.

Overall I really enjoyed this book. Interesting story and characters. Even though it was very similar to "The Darkest Powers Series". I do believe that series is better.

I thought this was three separate short novels, but it's three parts of the same story line with the same characters. It definitely wasn't Smith's best. I enjoyed the Night World series more. However, it was interesting enough to keep me reading and to make me want to know how it all turned out. Overall, worth the read.
