This is an average NR story - so far. Parts of the plot and dialogue remind me of the Circle and Sign of Seven Trilogies. But what made it worth reading 'til the end was the visit to yet another County in Ireland and the locals that make up the supporting cast - much like the villagers that really lived in The Quiet Man's village. She is in her best form writing the dialogue and gossip circles that make the visit so enjoyable - dispite the recycled plot and main characters. In fact I normally would not do the audio book, but NR's Irish books would be one of the few exceptions - just to hear the supporting cast.

Oh. The dog, hawk and horse are no longer just bit players. At least the horse made all the primary relationships funnier and better.
