I had read several short stories by this author in the "Bad Boy" books. They were so cute, that I decided to pick up a few of the novels she's written on her own. I haven't been disappointed! THe first one I read was "MOUTH TO MOUTH" and I loved it. THe second one is "A DATE WITH THE OTHER SIDE." She's very quickly become one of my favorite authors with her laugh out loud humor, sticky situations, sexy characters and brusque style. In this particular book, she has a female ghost tour guide falling for a corporate guy from Chicago that learns to appreciate small-town life. There are a few poltergeists thrown in for good measure and a gramma that says what's on her mind. This book had me from the first three pages, and it was hard to put it down. When it comes to romantic comedy, nobody does it better.....

Super cute story! McCarthy is always fun and I enjoy all of her stories. The characters were funny but of course you always know that you are going to have a happy ending!
