I JUST checked my shelf yesterday, and the date on my next book en transit was "estimated delivery before April 11" with system activation showing as the standard day after that, April 12.  Well, according to my calendar today is April 10, but I just got a lost in mail notice and the book now sits in my transaction archive...  ??????

Patricia, The system thinks like this: Before April 11. The keyword is "Before". April 10 is "Before" April 11. It is the same with the mail by date. I can mail by mo/day, it means the book should be in the mail by mo/day, not on mo/day. Also since PBS is based in GA, Eastern time is the standard on the site. Hope that makes sense.

I would have to disagree with Cheryl on the following statement...

"It is the same with the mail by date. I can mail by mo/day, it means the book should be in the mail by mo/day, not on mo/day."

This does not mean in the mail before that date it means on or before that date.  If I say I'm going to mail a book by April 12 I have until midnight of April 12 to actually mail it to honestly say that I mailed it "by" April 12, otherwise the site would say before April 12.

Patricia, I would say there was a glitch...because the date of system activation said April 12, which in all the ones I've had experience with would mean that at 12:01 a.m. would be when the system would have activated that it was lost.
