If only this book had some soul! It's a nice basic premise - holy girl warrior fights dragons - and the writing isn't terrible. Unfortunately, there is little meat to this story, and no fighting. The charecters, also, were very flat and one dimensional. Less a fantasy or adventure story and more like a Christian allegory. Which is fine - but I wish it wouldn't try to pass itself off as a type of epic saga.
