This book changed my whole mind set! Another must read, The Bible Unearthed.
There has been so much research into the "truth" of the bible historically for about 100 years! Why have we not heard about this?! This book explains how/what we know about Davis and Solomon and who they really were, if they were the stuff of legend, or real people with a different history fomr the one we are told.

A book that takes the story past the biblical and adds the full history of that time. If your into the history of the Old Testament this one for you. Also added are the Egyptian, Assyrian, Greek, Babylonian as well as the Philistines and related coastal people. Well worth reading for interested in those times.
