This was the first western book I had read and I loved it! I fell in love with Nathan Stone! This book has so much old west and the way it was back then. I couldn't put it down and couldn't wait to get the others in the series, which I now own! You follow the story of Nathan from the time his family is killed to the time he kills the very last person that had anything to do with the killing of his family. He meets people that become his friends and some who want to challange his gun skills. There are even pieces of history thrown in through out the story. I highly recommend this series to any one who likes westerns.

There are six books in this series and I loved them all. The protangist, Nathan Stone, became very real to me. Truly classic.
