I found this a mildly entertaining read. The character development was pretty well done, but the overall plot of the book was thin. It made good beach reading, but was not good enough so that I would seek out any more of his books.

This book is about the end times and a group of people deciding to not wait until the very end and seek out a new place to live in the wilderness. The author has a knack for drawing you in and FEELING what the people are experiencing, which is not all good and not all bad and even at times make you the reader wishing for such a group of people to escape this world with. I won't give away the ending but it was NOT what I expected but the story itself is a GREAT read for those who like suspence and mystery.

Nature strikes back against the humans who have polluted and destroyed her for centuries. OK plot but slow in some parts.

I was not able to post this book with the ISBN (1581164390). It does not have 8 pages, but rather 8 CDs with approximate reading time of 8.5 hours. Enjoy!
