A beautiful and loving book. Also a "Parents' Choice Award" winner! Displays the way the natural world all works together to welcome each new birth. A "warm fuzzy!"

The earth celebrates the birth of a newborn baby. Each child is special and this book stresses and invites the baby to join them.
It is also a reminder and introduction for the baby to the wonderful and magical world we live in.

The book is sweet but it doesn't keep my three year old granddaughters attention very well. She would much rather look at the pictures and then would like a different story. The pictures are OK, the are not beautiful or breath taking but do fit the story well. Maybe she is too young for it? This book tells a child in no uncertain terms that his or her birth was a celebration--a cosmic event that changed the world for the better. Although it has some New Age aspects to it, it transcends any religion or dogma, and is, quite simply, completely beautiful, but again I wasn't too crazy about the pictures. My copy did not come with the CD.

This is one of the best books I had for my children.
