Search - The Day We Met

Good book. I liked some of her other ones better, though. Kind of predictable at the end.

Maggy o'Brien's ex husband is getting married. Her daughter has dyed her hair purple. And for her thirty-fifth birthday, her sisters have arraanged a weekend getaway complete with limo. It's all Maggy can do to hold on to the pieces of her life right now. And traveling all the way to Atlantic City she thinks will only make things worse.
Conor Riley is in Atlantic City that same day-and his only plans are to roll some dice and keep his mind off the past. He can't help noticing the beautiful woman across the room, sitting alone. He can't help but ask her to dance. And he can't help but ask her to come with him to a romantic escape by the shore-and to think about what their future together could hold.....

I read this book in a couple of days. I like Bretton as she writes about real people, love and family life.
