A "kinder, gentler" Canadian detective with an aversion to violence who starts out investigating a widow's belief that her husband's death was not an accident and almost winds up as toxic waste! I've read a *lot* of mysteries and I didn't get the solution. Can you? By the way, this is a $14.95 pb. If you are a mystery novel reader, you ought to try it just for the bargain!
