this author's subject matter kinda scared me but when I got into it his view of pedophiles, etc etc. is sooo killer that I enjoyed this book. He really sticks up for those kids who have noone to turn to. This starts out with the killing of his adored dog, and you just dont kill someone's dog!! From there, he hunts down the person or persons responsible and of course makes them pay!! Vachss is a great antihero that I cheered for. will pick up more of Burke's exploits!!
