This is such a well written tale of a sad time in this country when racism, religious persecution and irresponsible journalism all intersected in the trial of one man and how a lawless mob took matters into their own hands with horrible results.

The author clearly researched the material and the descriptions offered up are so vivid that you really feel like you're right in the middle of it.

I look forward to finishing the book over the long holiday weekend and I will be posting it on this site very soon. Thanks again to all book club members for sharing this unique experience of book swapping. Happy Holidays.
