This book bugged me because it was so obvious what was going to happen in the end. I like seeing more of Quinn and like seeing them deepen their relationship. I also thought Keri Arthur really failed to SHOW us how unlikeable Kye is and how much Riley dislikes him. She says it a lot but she doesn't really show us. Further it's difficult to see how much different (i.e. worse) Kye is from any of the other men Riley knows. I get that maybe we're not supposed to like the guy but I just don't think Keri Arthur makes a good case of it in the story - or at least differentiating him from anyone else. Kind of looking forward to the end of this series.

Good story, but after SEVEN books Riley STILL can't be happy? All I gotta say about this book is TEAM QUINN all the way.

In the 7th book, Riley's character and relationships continue to evolve in a way that kept me reading. I was disappointed with book 6 (Darkest Kiss), but this one was excellent. For Quinn fans, he's in here! And that's all I'll say :)

Deadly Desire starts real slow but once it heats up - watch out. This is not a novel for the faint of heart though. It is very graphic with scenes of gore and guts. It is well written but it does feature serial killers and their victims. So beware.

Guardian Riley Jensen, werewolf and vampire mix, faces her most difficult and challenging case to date. Vampires and teenage girls are being brutally murdered by zombies of all things. Is it the result of one serial killer or two? There is evidence of hellhounds, black magic and two different sorcerers.

Enter Kye Murphy, bounty hunter and rogue werewolf. He is chasing the same leads of Riley but getting far better intel and arriving at each scene before she can. There is definite chemistry between Riley and Kye but both are fighting it but for very different reasons.

Can a person with two different souls have only one soul mate? This is the question eating up Riley's thoughts. Eventhough Riley is in love with Quinn a vampire, she IS looking for her soul mate.

I've enjoyed the Riley Jenson series, but this may be my favorite so far.

One of my favorite authors. I like how she interwined magic into this book. Can't wait to see what happens next. Not as explicit as her past books, but still a page turner. Didn't want to put it down.

Riley Jenson's latest adventure. How a woman with a perfect body, and a perfect boyfriend can need the attention of yet another man, just escapes me. She get danger from 2 women this time, instead of a man and the pace and tone is really like her previous books.
Her only problem is the drug that's been injected into her system that makes her werewolf body have vampire powers, and she can transform into a seagull.
I have enjoyed all of Riley Jenson's adventures, which is why I won't be swapping them.
