One of Mr. Block's earlier works and MUCH more gritty than his later work. Still VERY enjoyable.

This is an oldie from 1967. Fun to read a mystery with no cell phones etc. The story: a husband and wife are witness to a cold-blooded murder on their wedding night.

One of Block's earliest novels. While not quite as rich as his later work, it still has all his trademark suspense, pacing and witty dialogue.
