I totally didn't pay attention to the reading level of this book when I ordered it from PaperBackSwap.com so when it came in the mail is when I realized that it was a children's book. I decided to read it anyways. It was good. The book was about two little girls, one deaf and one hearing, becoming friends and having to make some decisions that would test their friendship.
Excellent book...as much about growth & adolescence as the bridge between the deaf and hearing community of children
Excellent book. Marlee Matlin wrote this book about a deaf child in the hearing world and she did an excellent job.
