hello okay recently did a deal for  4 books for one credits

so i got 3 books free now one those books (which was posted) was waterlog (it was not the one for the credit)

but it was one of the 3 books i got for free I didn't notice the problem until after i already clicked book received/

so what should i do?

There's nothing you can do since it was not the book recorded on the official transaction archive.  You can send the member a PM and let them know that one of the freebies was damaged, so therefore should not have been considered as postable and available on their shelf, and see what their response is,but since it was a freebie, it's really not worth it IMO.

I can't imagine anyone doing that, Jeri. First, I think the vast majority of members are honest. Secondly, they would have no way of knowing what would get ordered and what would be free, and a RWAP and a credit return when they'd sent 4 books wouldn't be worth it and could get very expensive depending on the popularity of the deal.

I can't imagine why someone would post a waterlogged book to their shelf in the first place, but it's amazing how many times that happens.
